The “Movement for the Defense of the Rights of Refugees & Immigrants” is a group of volunteers which is made up of active members in Patras since 2007. It provides Greek language courses and collects and distributes food and clothing. Highlights the problems caused by the anti-immigration policy of the government and the EU and claims the rights of immigrants and refugees.
Encardia, a world music ensemble, is currently one of the most prominent Greek world music groups in the country and internationally. Dedicated to the rich traditional music of South Italy, they take us with them on a musical journey to the villages of Calabria, the beautiful regions of Salento and all those places where Greek and other local dialects are still spoken.
